Hungarian Pepper Dip #YUM

Party Tips...? More like a recipe that will blow your mind! 

{{Make SURE you read what is at the bottom of the page!}}

So everyone always wants to bring something special to a get together but half the time we end up buying a bag of chips or some cookies.....Although that MAY work... it is fairly l-a-m-e! Instead, this super yummy Hot Pepper dip will not be good for your heart health BUT everyone will love it!

Ingredients for ONE batch
      (will be enough for a small party)
  • 4-6 Hungarian (hot) peppers
  • 2 Blocks of Cream Cheese
  • 1 Cup of Mayo 
  • 1/2 cup of cheese {mozzerella is the best} 
Seasonings: Onion powder, Garlic Powder, Salt & (a ton) of pepper!!

How to actually make it:
  1. Cut the tops off of the peppers, cut in half and remove the seeds.
  2. Place chopped peppers in a blender or something to chop/puree them!
  3. Mix together ALL of the ingredients
  4. Stir.....of course ;)
  5. Place in pan and cook at 350 for 30 minutes or until brown OR if you are going to a party... throw it in a crock pot-- cook on high with top on for 30 minutes, remvoe cover and cook for another 10 minutes (so it is not soupy)
  6. ENJOY it with some tortilla chips!!! #YUM

Oh, if for some INSANE reason there is left over dip try this:
    Hot pepper Stuff Chicken 
  •    Take Boneless skinless chicken breast- butterfly them open
               (aka- so you can put stuff inside of them)
  • Place a spoon full of this magical dip inside of the chicken!!
  • Sprinkle with seasonings 
  • Bake in oven until chicken is done (duh) 
  • Top with mozzarella cheese
Additionally- if there is left over chicken....it may be a sign you don't love the dip but oh well ;) 
Try cutting up the stuffed chicken and making a chicken salad sandwich from the left overs!! The spiciness from the hot pepper dip is SUPER good in a sandwich too!!

Is it raining?

 
The best way to enjoy a raining day is to literally do almost nothing. I have a few ideas for you to help you get the MOST out of your lazy, rainy, bum-like day.

{{First: decide if you are inviting a friend or significant other to be lazy with you. Once you have decided who you will be a bum with... let them know your plans}}

  1. Do any sort of "work" early in the day. If you need to workout, pay some bills, do homework... Spend 1-2 hours (however long you actually need) doing the work.
    >>You don't want to feel guilty just chillin'<<
  2. Decide what food you shall eat. Food is good. Since it is a lazy day, you could order out OR you can just throw a bunch of random stuff together for something uniquely yummy.
     
  3. Decide what outlet you want to tap into to FULLY engage your extremely "bum-like" day. Will it be Netflix, Redbox and 20 different movies, Hulu, a old school VHS movie? Pick one!!
  4. Blankets. My dearest friends. Whether it is a hot day or freezing cold. I hate to say this, but you need a blanket to complete your lazy day apparel. Will it be a big fluffy blanket #hotelstyle or a thin polka dot sheet from when you were 12? Either way...find it and rock it.
  5. Find your remotes.....I mean ALL the remotes. The worst thing upon sitting down in NOT having EVERYTHING you need...right next to you. Can I get an amen?!
  6. Consider extra activities such as: Painting your nails, dying your hair, reading a magazine. Regardless of what you decide....make sure you have everything you need. Trust me, once you start Gossip Girl or Inception... you will NOT want to move.

  7. Turn your phone OFF. If your phone is on and near you, trust me, you will be checking facebook (for whatever dumb reason) every 10 minutes.
       >>>>>Let me give you a tip: Nothing new will happen every 5-10 minutes. So shut your   damn phone off and just relax! 
  8. Begin your day!

    Oh ps: if there is a chance it might get all sunny out.. make sure your blinds are closed. Nothing ruins a "bummy" day like the sun blinding you while you are binge watching tv. 

Other random tips: If you are feeling like you have just "wasted a day" you goofy over achiever... just relax! Maybe make a fancy dinner or just shower and do your make up! You are allowed to relax every now and then! If you are really worried about it- before you started relaxing, give yourself a time limit!!

The Rare moments in life.

{{I will return to the goof/witty stuff in a few days but for now I would like to chat about something that many of us experience but may not realize.}}

The art of the teacher. Someone who has taught you something in life that is so valuable it can not be paid back. These people may be apart of your extended family, friends or loved ones. It may even be a stranger. The simple fact is; listen, watch and love them. For what they do, how they act and who they are at the root of their beautiful soul-- can and will show you a part of the world that is more beautiful than you can imagine.

Sometimes, with a heavy and sad heart we must say goodbye to  those magical people. It isn't a "good bye" however, it is a chance for their spirit & love to be around us at all times. These angels were placed in our life for a specific time and stayed for as long as they could. What do they teach us? Well, that is entirely up to who you are. Just as long as you let their love in. Allow their life story to change your heart. When times get tough, when your days are filled with sadness, remember those beautiful lessons you were taught and realize that their love surrounds your endless. For they are apart of you now.


Although this man has left our physical world I know that he walks with us, always. He taught me the power and the depths of love and how to always be happy.

There are beautiful people in this world, give them a chance. Let them in. Allow their love and infectious spirit consume you and change you forever. There is nothing more amazing than a teacher. Someone who doesn't and will never know how much they can impact a life. Allow your heart to be filled and your soul to be healed.


When they leave us, they leave behind their memories as a gift. Those precious moments, no one can take away from you. They are engraved in your heart and they will stay there safely forever. Don't be sad for too long. They probably wouldn't appreciate it.  Instead just focus on living your life as gracefully as they lived theirs. Pass on their lessons.

Freaky Friday?

Fancy && Freaky Fridayy

Naturally, Friday the 13th is all creepy and people act all weird....right? Well let's get fancy with all the freaky-ness that happens on Friday the 13th. Instead of being all moody and letting the people around you go all cray-cray. It is time to dress up, get all fancy and spread some l-o-v-e! How can you make Freaky Friday...Freaking GREAT?!

  • Buy someones order (at a drive thru)
  • High-five a stranger...Tell me that you don't smile after someone randomly high-fives you?! 
  • Compliment someone! Do it. Do it. Do itttt
  • Snap chat a funny face or ten to a friend ;p
  • Get all fancy for a night out {even if it is to the grocery store.}
  • Bring home ice cream and eat it outside before dinner. #NothingFreakyAboutthat 
  • Watch some dumb youtube videos 
  • Force yourself to laugh until you actually start laughing.. Trust me it is hilarious. 
  • Sing to some musiccccccc-- if someone judges you in the car next to yours-- throw them a funny face. They will laugh & so will you. 
  • Make up a crazy story and tell someone...get them to believe it and telling the real truth is up to you. hehe...make it a good one.
  • Scare/Surprise someone at home! (Surprises are always funny)
  • Throw a wig on your dog....? haha yes. 
  • Crack an egg on someones head... If you haven't done it or had it done to you... it is hilar.

Bandana babes. XOX.

A witty tutorial on how to wear a
headband or bandana:
{{For this tutorial I am speaking to ladies, sorry guys I have no ideas for you}}


  1. Figure out what you want to wear. Bandana or Headband?
  2. Try to figure out the shape of your head.
          Will a headband even stay on your weirdly shaped head?
  3. Buy bobby-pins...if you think you already have enough...you are wrong.
        Life with a Headband/bandana will not be fun without bobby pins. See photo



  4. Put yo hair up! If you want a "poof" you can hair spray your bangs a little so you get some volume<< #volumeisgood  {{Bobby pin your "poof" if you have one}
  5. I am using a bandana for this tutorial.  After folding my bandana appropriately, I started the the base of my oddly shaped head and places a few bobby pins through my hair and the bandana. {So they are connected}
  6. Then continue to place bobby pins every inch all the way up your head. If you have a slippery head>>use however many bobby pins you need.







7. Take a picture of yourself and your bandana --lets see what you can doo.

So another way to secure loose, slippery headbands is by spending a little more money and investing in some good headbands such as sweaty bands (I have never tried them before but I hear they work great!)

Okay. So I feel like we should all congratulate each other on being weird- head-shaped ladies. Rock your weirdly shaped skull and everything it protects. Be a bit of a #badassdaily

Empower yourself.

Don't let others break you. Bad days come--here are my tips for you.

If you are a lady and are not feeling the best about yourself. I have a few ideas about how to get your "spirits" up. We all have those days where we don't feel that wonderful. Can I get an Amen?!  So here are a few tips about how I personally help my bad attitude.

1. Shut your phone off. (You don't need to talk to the idiots who probably ruined your day.)
2. Do some squats. Those will help you today & every day after #workforyobootaayy.
3. Remove that nail polish . Chipped polish will effect your day darlin'
4.Paint your nails & Clear coat them.
5. Maybe buy a pair of cute shoes or try a weird hair mask {Shower if ya need to}
6. Do your make up
7. Put on some Beyonce. (My fav songs: posted below)
8. Breath.
9. Don't let anything else bug you. If it still is buggin you.. your music isn't loud enough.




















At the end of the day, our phones are the things that bring us down half the time. Focus on where you are, who you are with or just yourself. Don't be continuously bogged down with all the social media crazies. Things have "off" switches for a reason. And you are allowed to walk away from a situation you don't vibe well with.  Moral of the story:: You choose your happiness. If you can't get out of a "funk"  try your music up & just focus on you.

The real reason to drink water.

Hey. If it is REAL hot out. Drink your water. 

 If you need help getting out any of the following:
  • Need to get away from your computer?
  • Need a break from work?
  • Need a break from a BAD date?
  • Need to lock yourself in the bathroom away from your kids?
  • Need to fix your make-up every five minutes?
  • Need a reason to walk by the hunk at the beach?
  • Need to exit a annoying conversation...stat?
  • Need to dream about margarita Monday at work?
Drinking water will help you solve every single one of those problems. Just start chugging and your excuses will be valid.

Are you Rebellious?


When the things you want in life are close... but not close enough...yet

You know when you see certain people and they are just glowing (not because they are pregnant lol) but because they just are living life...I mean really, truly LIVING their life. Isn't it our life's mission...to get to that point?

I think our life's should be fundamentally constructed around reaching your crazy awesome life goals, following God's plan for you and supporting, encouraging and lifting others up. There is no one telling you WHO you HAVE to be, there are only guidelines of society that some of us choose to listen to and others of us decide to rebel and try things differently. So which one are you? Are you obedient to society or are you a little rebellious? In the end we are what we choose to be. We accomplish what we subconsciously (or consciously) tell ourselves on a day to day basis. What are you reaching for?

My tip:
Set up some bad ass plans for yourself and work to make those a reality. Be better than you are right now and accomplish what YOU want, not what society tells you.  {{Just don't break the law}}

I have been doing short PiYo workouts that I have found on Youtube and they have become some of my favorite short workouts to do!
