I love speaking from the heart. Through my faith and my daily life I have constructed personalized messages for anyone who cares to listen. So here are some messages I have made or small lesson I have learned and want to pass to you :)
"Just like reading a good book or a really good glass of wine.
You don't NEED it to survive-- but it makes life that much more amazing"
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It has been a while since I have updated this partically part of the blog but today, I felt like sharing a little. I have been away from home for almost a year now (a year in Febuary) and there are things they don't tell you when you move away from home. For those of you who were all excited about it when you first graduated high school, good for you! But Leaving your home, the place that raised you, comforted you when you were sad, molded you into the person you are... that is tough. I don't know if those of us who move away ever get over the heart break of leaving. Maybe I am just a baby who has some serious attachment issues but I feel like a small piece of me just longs to spend the nights curled up on my parents couch with my puppies by my feet. The only problem is, is I am hundreds of miles away.
Sometimes we choose to be unhappy. The whole idea of looking at the glass half empty vs half full.. You choose to be happy vs unhappy. If you could choose a life with limitless chocolate cake or hot fudge sundaes.... wouldn't you? So why would you choose to NOT allow yourself to be happy.
The things in your life that will make you the happiest, are all around you. From the person next to you on the couch or at the dinning room table to the smell of coffee brewing in the morning. Little things provide the perfect gateway to happiness. To search for happiness is silly, when it is apart of you all along.
Finding a place that allows you to grow spiritually is essential. Just like reading a good book or a really good glass of wine. You don't NEED it to survive-- but it makes life that much more amazing. We have found a new church home at East Lake Community in South Carolina. I would like to pass on a little message for today:

The Noticer Returns, by Andy Andrews. Usually for personal development, people always talk about reading self help or instructional books. This book is very different. It is on another level. It is a story that is webbed with this amazing message. A new thought on every page, makes it a VERY hard book to put down. I found this quote within the reading and it truly spoke to me. I hope you find some clarity within it.

Within your life, there will be obstacles that will be hard to tackle but don't let the situation defeat you. Allow your reactions to create a happier future. If a situation weighs you down, make a choice to change your outlook. Remember to paint with beautiful colors. It is your life, isn't it?
Our life is mapped out. Your current place in life is purposeful. If you are uncomfortable and unsure of your purpose- just be in the moment. Be happy and the reason might just find you.
Sometimes I find it hard to pray as big as I should. Don't be afraid to dream big or pray big. After all we are all meant to do amazing things.
It breaks my hear to hear about people who don't feel loved. Even if you are not at your "peak" fitness level, if you just got out of a relationship, moved, had a bad day at work.. what ever the case- just close your eyes, breathe in deep and smile. You are here. Your alive and well and with those two things in your favor, life isn't all that bad!
Have you ever heard that complementing someone will not only make them feel better but YOU will feel better! Just like smiling- it is contagious!
