Anyone else fall HARD off the wagon sometimes?
Yep. I am literally right there with you. I went to Hilton Head, this week with a few girl friends and although I am currently working through a BeachBody program (The 21 Day Fix) and I have gotten used to the containers and the sizes (that is how the program works- you fit your food into specific containers, a specific amount of times every day and you eat- what you can fit into the containers) Throughout the vacation I was able to be conscious of what and how much I was eating. So that was a positive thing! But I did enjoy a few drinks (beer.. which is never a great idea when your trying to reach your weight loss goals..FYI)
So anyways, while on vacation I had a really hard time psychologically accepting the fact that I COULD enjoy myself and eat a little differently and have a few drinks. I feel good coming from that mini vacation (ps- check out my blog post about my mini vacation in the "Spend Time in the Sun" page!) But getting back to business. I am looking forward to restarting the last week of the Fix and doing doubles. I think that will help me accomplish my goals.
This weekend is my birthday and I plan to, yet again, enjoy it with my friends and family. Why the hell not. I am a firm believer in enjoying your life. Live it! Don't be a dud and not have fun because you can't eat something or what ever it is! Make your mind up, if your going to have a beer or five (don't drive) but just enjoy it! And then when your ready to get back on track- realize what you did and just work from there!
MONDAY: April 28th I will be starting a 5 day FREE support group- which I am really excited about! I am looking forward to getting back into a routine and getting results!! WOOT WOOT!!

Ditch the scale, ya turkey!!
Mind you, I HATE (literally I HATE) weighing myself. I think that as
you go through a weight loss transformation it can literally "make" or
"break" you. So if you are currently going through a weight loss
transformation and you step on that little box that can convince you to
"starve" yourself at the drop of a dime... literally throw the damn
thing in the garbage and just work to be happy. <- Seriously!
I have watched the people I love, be crushed by the tiny number on the dumb box! #lovethem but come on! So take your measurements- write them down- focus on inches INSTEAD of the weight!
{{PS- If you ARE going to weigh yourself....DO NOT weigh yourself at 10 o'clock at night!! Not a good idea! Only weigh yourself in the morning, before you eat!}}
I have followed this guideline (lose the scale just focus on being HAPPY!) and I have been able to
My Mini Motto is: "Enjoy 98% clean and healthy eating, also enjoy the heck out of the 2%"
