You are the best

 How have I not posted since the beginning of the year?
I wanted to update my page and give some advice... That I need to take myself//

It is strange to be given an opportunity to alter your life for better. Sometimes we are stuck in societal realms that create chaos and negative mental clutter in our minds. It can slow us down, break our spirits, ruin relationships, cloud our minds and effect our judgement. Speaking from minimal experience but through observation of those around me in some worlds, I can see how negativity can impact your life.

Whether you are in a relationship; friendship or commitment based.
At a job. Or in your own skin.

Negativity can defeat you, if you let it.

Some problems we face as a society (in my mind) are the constant comparison of ourselves to those we feel are on our level. Yet we are in a constant battle to become less like US and more like them in hopes of accomplishing something that they have. This (I feel) plagues the minds of our youth and the women of our nation. You may not agree, but I bet that your friend, family member or coworker, in someway feels inadequate or less than.

There is an entire WORLD for us. There is no one like us.. like you.
No one can make others smile, like you can. No one to make goofy comments.

No one can be you, better than you can.

If you or someone you know, feels pressured by the world to be someone that they aren't. If you compare yourself to others... daily, then here are things that I have done and will continue to do in order to find myself in a place of peace and joy. Knowing that I am great, powerful and unique in a way that doesn't need to be changed.

- Look inward. There is nothing in this world that is as powerful as someone who believes in who they are...fully. Without hesitation. What makes you happy? What makes you feel rested, relaxed and loved? >> If you don't know... Then go exploring.

- Read.
  >> Have a book in your purse or car for those moments when you feel tested, pressured or inadequate...simply read a little.
{A few I recommend: anything from the Joe Osteen library, A Million Litte Ways or the classic: The Bible}
Or Listen; listen to some podcasts! They are short and you can find one to match whatever you may struggle with!

- Your surroundings. I have noticed that, what those around you say can some how seep into your brain and pollute it like a drug. There is nothing worse than being surrounded by people who talk about nothing positive. They always are complaining, gossiping and complaining some more.
   This can be more damaging than you imagine. You may start to believe what they say, you may start to add to the gossip or the negativity and that alone will bring you down. So again, get that tiny book that is hiding in your purse or hop on pinterest and look at positive quotes, scripture, and passages with in your book.

At the end of the day, take a look at the situation you find yourself in. It if causes you stress, worry and creates a hateful/spiteful heart... turn around and run away. There is no one or nothing that is worth losing your sanity over. There is no job in the world that is truely worth it, if you become someone who is bitter. There is no room in the world for another broken, beaten down person. You have to look within, realize that you are the best at being YOU. If you compare yourself to others... don't. If you get upset, stressed or worried... just focus on finding something more positive in life.

Find friends that lift you up, a business that you can pour your own spunk into. Build your own dreams! Find someone, something that inspires and changes you

Hungarian Pepper Dip #YUM

Party Tips...? More like a recipe that will blow your mind!

{{Make SURE you read what is at the bottom of the page!}}

So everyone always wants to bring something special to a get together but half the time we end up buying a bag of chips or some cookies.....Although that MAY work... it is fairly l-a-m-e! Instead, this super yummy Hot Pepper dip will not be good for your heart health BUT everyone will love it!

Ingredients for ONE batch
      (will be enough for a small party)
  • 4-6 Hungarian (hot) peppers
  • 2 Blocks of Cream Cheese
  • 1 Cup of Mayo
  • 1/2 cup of cheese {mozzerella is the best}
Seasonings: Onion powder, Garlic Powder, Salt & (a ton) of pepper!!

How to actually make it:
  1. Cut the tops off of the peppers, cut in half and remove the seeds.
  2. Place chopped peppers in a blender or something to chop/puree them!
  3. Mix together ALL of the ingredients
  4. Stir.....of course ;)
  5. Place in pan and cook at 350 for 30 minutes or until brown OR if you are going to a party... throw it in a crock pot-- cook on high with top on for 30 minutes, remvoe cover and cook for another 10 minutes (so it is not soupy)
  6. ENJOY it with some tortilla chips!!! #YUM

 <<The pepper dip shown here is for two graduation parties...that is why there is SO MUCH!>>

Oh, if for some INSANE reason there is left over dip try this:
    Hot pepper Stuff Chicken
  •    Take Boneless skinless chicken breast- butterfly them open
               (aka- so you can put stuff inside of them)
  • Place a spoon full of this magical dip inside of the chicken!!
  • Sprinkle with seasonings
  • Bake in oven until chicken is done (duh)
  • Top with mozzarella cheese
Additionally- if there is left over chicken....it may be a sign you don't love the dip but oh well ;)
Try cutting up the stuffed chicken and making a chicken salad sandwich from the left overs!! The spiciness from the hot pepper dip is SUPER good in a sandwich too!!

I would LOVE feed back if you do try this dip or attempt to make it!!

Post a comment/photo below if you make it, let me know how it is!

Is it raining?

The best way to enjoy a raining day is to literally do almost nothing. I have a few ideas for you to help you get the MOST out of your lazy, rainy, bum-like day.

{{First: decide if you are inviting a friend or significant other to be lazy with you. Once you have decided who you will be a bum with... let them know your plans}}

  1. Do any sort of "work" early in the day. If you need to workout, pay some bills, do homework... Spend 1-2 hours (however long you actually need) doing the work.
    >>You don't want to feel guilty just chillin'<<
  2. Decide what food you shall eat. Food is good. Since it is a lazy day, you could order out OR you can just throw a bunch of random stuff together for something uniquely yummy.

  3. Decide what outlet you want to tap into to FULLY engage your extremely "bum-like" day. Will it be Netflix, Redbox and 20 different movies, Hulu, a old school VHS movie? Pick one!!
  4. Blankets. My dearest friends. Whether it is a hot day or freezing cold. I hate to say this, but you need a blanket to complete your lazy day apparel. Will it be a big fluffy blanket #hotelstyle or a thin polka dot sheet from when you were 12? Either way...find it and rock it.
  5. Find your remotes.....I mean ALL the remotes. The worst thing upon sitting down in NOT having EVERYTHING you need...right next to you. Can I get an amen?!
  6. Consider extra activities such as: Painting your nails, dying your hair, reading a magazine. Regardless of what you decide....make sure you have everything you need. Trust me, once you start Gossip Girl or Inception... you will NOT want to move.

  7. Turn your phone OFF. If your phone is on and near you, trust me, you will be checking facebook (for whatever dumb reason) every 10 minutes.
       >>>>>Let me give you a tip: Nothing new will happen every 5-10 minutes. So shut your   damn phone off and just relax!
  8. Begin your day!

    Oh ps: if there is a chance it might get all sunny out.. make sure your blinds are closed. Nothing ruins a "bummy" day like the sun blinding you while you are binge watching tv.

Other random tips: If you are feeling like you have just "wasted a day" you goofy over achiever... just relax! Maybe make a fancy dinner or just shower and do your make up! You are allowed to relax every now and then! If you are really worried about it- before you started relaxing, give yourself a time limit!!

 Happy rainy day, you bums.
From me to you with lazy day love.

PiYo- Coming soon

 Chalene Johnson is the creator of Turbo Jam, Turbo Fire and Chalene Extreme! Later in June (yes, this month!) She will be releasing her BRAND new workout program. I am sure you have seen myself or others posting about it!

It is called PiYo. You are probably thinking: "What the hell is Piyo...it's not Plyo?"
            -> Here is what PiYo is: It is based on a some of the best shape sculpting moves from both Pilates (hence the "Pi") and from Yoga ("Yo")  to give you amazing results! What is required: nothing but you! No weights needed! It will help tone, shape and sculpt your body in ways you couldn't imagine!

Mom of three lost 30lbs with PiYo & Shakeology! -Beachbody Success Story

Personally- I have never been a HUGE fan of cardio. My idea of "fun" isn't getting super sweaty and feeling like I am going to faint because I am working myself like a dog! I have always liked weight lifting and focusing on the good your body can do when you learn how to train it properly. I am extremely excited to purchase and start this program! I have been doing short PiYo workouts that I have found on Youtube and they have become some of my favorite short workouts to do! PiYo  will be released the end of June and I will be looking forward to starting a support group for anyone who is interested in doing this program with me! Risk Free trail starts in July!

Is PiYo for you?   Well if you are looking for something that is going to give you great results and is LOW Impact, then YES! This program will be good for you! It is not cardio intensive! Therefor you will not be doing burpees and sprints for an hour straight! Plus the best part about Beachbody workouts is: there is always a modifier!! So don't fear!

By Subscribing, I will send you three emails. One of which will be me saying HI! The second will be when the program is released and the third will be a way for me to check in with you :) I say this now because I HATE when you subscribe to something and they send you a DOZEN emails in the matter of two days! #Ihateit lol
